The Milwaukee Bucks came into their matchup with the Phoenix Suns high off of a complete dismantling of the Portland Trail Blazers in their previous game. The Bucks went from blowing out the team with the best record in the Western Conference to losing to the team with the worst record in the Western Conference, though.
The game started out promisingly with Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon drilling their first three-point attempts. Brook Lopez looked shaky at the start — which would only foreshadow his overall performance — by going 0-of-3 from three to start the game.
