D.J. Wilson‘s NBA career with the Milwaukee Bucks has not entirely panned out to this point, leaving many to believe that he could soon be on his way out. For a former first-round draft selection, Wilson has under-performed and not lived up to expectations entirely, but the amount of opportunity he has received is partly to blame.
Over three years with the team, Wilson averaged 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 0.8 assists, in 12.2 minutes per game, which provided the 23-year-old little opportunity to showcase himself. When given minutes, Wilson has proven to be hit or miss, but the potential has always been present.
