There was some confusion when the Milwaukee Bucks drafted Rashad Vaughn back in the 2015 NBA Draft. With Bobby Portis, a favorite of yours truly, still on the board, it seemed like an easy pick to grab the animated big man.
Instead, Milwaukee flipped the script and took Vaughn. The UNLV Running Rebel missed the March Madness tournament with an injury, but he was an effective scorer in his lone collegiate season, and seemed to be capable of becoming an effective bench scorer some day.
That vision has not panned out. Vaughn has scored more than 14 points exactly once in his NBA career over 111 career games.
