After arriving to Milwaukee in a shocking deadline trade, Michael Carter-Williams had to adjust to his new home very quickly.
To go from a team where winning was not the highest of priorities to a team where winning this season was unexpected, it had to have been a culture shock to Carter-Williams. To add to that, he was replacing the team’s de facto leader in Brandon Knight.
It was unfair from the beginning to compare Carter-Williams to Knight.
While Carter-Williams was the reigning rookie of the year, he’s been viewed as more of a raw player to where Knight was more fully formed and their styles of play respectively couldn’t have been more far apart.
