Whatever possessed Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens to declare his team the "2016 champions" when he addressed the BMO Harris Bradley Center crowd before the season opener Wednesday night, you've got to love it.
Edens was joking — we think — but there's nothing wrong with thinking big.
This franchise has been sorely lacking in the Brash Department for more than a decade. It's about time for some audaciousness, some attitude, some swagger. It's about time to lose the eighth-seed mentality and say, "Why not us?"
