Mequon — Caution is the word when it comes to one of the Milwaukee Bucks' most valuable assets: second-year forward Jabari Parker.
The 6-foot-8 Parker is making steady progress in his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, an injury he suffered on Dec. 15 last year, prematurely ending his rookie season after 25 games.
General manager John Hammond said Tuesday at the team's annual golf outing that Parker will be able to participate in training camp, which opens next week in Madison.
But the extent of his participation is to be determined and it's clear the Bucks will handle Parker, the No.
