Jabari Parker exits Heat game with left knee injury

Doing the same thing he’d done all season, Jabari Parker went down favoring his left knee in the third quarter while trying to drive on Luke Babbitt. It appeared to be a minimal to non-contact injury, but Parker had to be helped off the court by teammates Thon Maker and Michael Beasley.

Here’s the play where it happened:

It’s the same knee that Parker injured back in December of 2014 during a game against the Phoenix Suns when it was revealed he had a torn ACL. He was ruled out of this game with a “left knee sprain,” but that’s merely an initial diagnosis until the team is able to get a deeper look at the injury.
