Madison — Some good news marks the final day of camp in Madison as the Bucks and center/forward John Henson have agreed to a four-year, $44 million contract extension, according to a league source.
Negotiations between Bucks officials and agent Jim Tanner have been underway throughout the summer and the agreement was reached a month before the league deadline for extensions for fourth-year players.
The agreement shows Henson's commitment to be part of the Bucks' plan for the future. Earlier this summer general manager John Hammond identified Henson as one of six core players for the franchise.
