The Greivis Vasquez era is finally over. After a year that can only be described as tough for both the Milwaukee Bucks and Vasquez himself, the veteran point guard has departed Milwaukee for the Brooklyn Nets in free agency.
Although details of the deal have yet to surface, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Vasquez and the Nets had agreed to a one-year deal on Sunday night.
The deal isn’t official yet, but with Woj reporting it there’s really no chance that it won’t become official very soon. Vasquez leaving completes the transformation the Bucks bench is undergoing–it’s almost entirely changed from last season.
