New York — Greg Monroe and John Henson are giving the Milwaukee Bucks a solid post presence.
It certainly was designed to be that way, after the Bucks signed the 6-foot-11 Monroe to a max three-year, $50 million contract in the summer and gave Henson a four-year, $44 million extension during training camp.
Both players have experienced ups and downs this season, and Monroe has adjusted to a new team for the first time in his NBA career after playing his first five seasons with the Detroit Pistons.
On Friday night, Monroe had nine points and 12 rebounds in his starting role, while Henson came off the bench to provide 16 points (8 of 9 shooting), three rebounds and one block in the Bucks' 96-95 victory over Dallas.
