The march onwards towards a possible berth in the 2024 Paris Olympics continues apace for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Greek National Team. With Giannis catching a DNP-CD for rest purposes, the Greeks did well to dispatch Egypt, 93-71.
It appears Greece got off to a strong start, pushing their way to a nearly 15 point lead midway through the first frame. Egypt would reel things back in and won the second quarter, 26-22, but Greece found their footing immediately out of the halftime break and would eventually go on to have a lead as large as 24 points.
