The accolades continue to stack up for Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was freshly minted as the Eastern Conference player of the month. This comes on the heels of an Eastern Conference player of the week award award as well. As the duration of his greatness continues, so will the amount of hardware shoveled his way. Apparently, Giannis is also the first Milwaukee Buck in history to win this award twice.
Congratulations to Giannis. He is the Eastern Conference Player of the Month and the first Bucks player with two of those in his career.

I’m not all that surprised by that fact, the only other real contenders I can think of would be Ray Allen, mayyybe Michael Redd and perhaps Sidney Moncrief, although I’m not sure if these kind of incremental awards were around back then.
