Giannis Antetokounmpo has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first week of the 2017-18 NBA season, the NBA announced today. The award is Antetokounmpo’s third Player of the Week honor of his career.
Antetokounmpo averaged 38.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.7 steals over the first three games of the season and shot 67.2 percent overall.
