Flying the NBA flag for the Milwaukee Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo got his European Championship campaign underway against Macedonia yesterday with an eventually comfortable win.

Eurobasket, Europe’s premier international basketball competition kicked off yesterday with 24 teams due to see action before a winner is crowned on September 20.
At this stage in the tournament the teams are divided into groups of six, and from there the top four teams in each grouping will advance to a Sweet 16 style knockout round.
Antetokounmpo’s Greece have been matched up with Croatia, Netherlands, Georgia, Slovenia and, of course, their opponent from yesterday Macedonia.
