Giannis and Greece make Olympic knockout stage with Serbia’s win over South Sudan

It took quite a bit of help from 3-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic and Serbia, but Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetkounmpo and Greece are heading to the knockout stage as Serbia dispatched South Sudan, 96-85. The eleven-point win by the Serbians pushed Greece ahead of South Sudan in point differential, with Greece at -8 and South Sudan at -17.

Serbia defeated South Sudan 96-85, which means Greece advances to the quarter-finals of the olympic basketball tournament to face Germany.
