Sixty seventh graders got the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of a professional sports franchise to find out not only what it takes to run a team, but just how many several, distinct job opportunities a sports franchise has to offer.
Middle schoolers from Roosevelt Middle School in Milwaukee, through the Council of Small Business Executive's (COSBE) "Be The Spark" campaign, came to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on March 14 to see how staff from the Milwaukee Bucks and BMO Harris Bradley Center work to run the organization. After receiving a tour of the building, students were able to hear from staff members, ranging in professions from basketball operations and broadcast to restaurant services and facility management, to gain a better understanding of the sports industry.
