The JCC Maccabi Games is the largest Jewish youth event in the world. This year Milwaukee was a host city to over 1,000 visiting Jewish teens from across the globe. Athletes from as far as Poland, Israel, Mexico and Canada were in town to compete in Olympic-style sports events including basketball.
The Bucks were one of the sponsors of the games and they hold special meaning to Bucks Vice President of Strategy and Operations Alex Lasry who competed in the Maccabi games himself as a youth. Lasry was joined by Bucks President Peter Feigen and Damien Inglis to watch the 14U Gold Medal basketball game between Boca Raton and Chicago.
