In what would have appeared a marquee matchup on paper a few months ago, the depleted Milwaukee Bucks took on the Oklahoma City Thunder and proved unable to keep pace on their way to a 107-125 road defeat.
Game Summary
The first quarter was something of a shootout to begin with neither team all that interested in establishing a sound defense. Threes from Khris Middleton (18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists), Malik Beasley (17 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists), and Pat Connaughton (8 points, 2 assists) did a nice job pacing Milwaukee’s scoring, although it was no trouble at all for OKC’s guards led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to waltz inside the three-point line and wreck havoc from there.
