In this week’s Tuesday Tracker, we asked you some In-Season Tournament questions in the wake of the Bucks’ loss, plus got a temperature check on the defense. Here are some of the notable takeaways:
- Over 65% of fans polled thought there was a palpable difference in the gameplay of In-Season Tournament games, both in the group stage and the tournament itself
- Still, 79% felt that the tournament needs some tweaks, with the majority of them voicing support for incentives to the winning team beyond prize money or eliminating neutral sites
- Most respondents (62%) are concerned to some degree about Bobby Portis’ reported postgame interaction with head coach Adrian Griffin last week
- A whopping 81% of surveyed fans are concerned about the Bucks’ overall effort on defense, and interestingly, 57% feel that scheme is the biggest issue, rather than personnel
- 44% of those polled disapprove of Adrian Griffin’s job as head coach, tied with those who are undecided; those numbers were at 21% and 62% two weeks ago
- A slim majority of fans asked now think the Bucks can win the title as currently composed compared to 71% two weeks ago, and 12% switched their answer to “no” in that time
