According to Shams Charania of the The Vertical, free agent forward Terrence Jones will sign a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks for the remainder of the season. Jones was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans about a week ago in the aftermath of the DeMarcus Cousins trade, 51 games into his time with the Pelicans after playing the previous four seasons with the Houston Rockets.
The 25-year-old Jones is averaging 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds this season, pretty much in line with his 10.6 and 5.8 respective averages. At 6’9”, Jones doesn’t possess the volume scoring pop of Michael Beasley or shooting of Mirza Teletovic, but he could likely find some consistent minutes due to his intriguing versatility on both ends of the floor.
