The Milwaukee Bucks are adding another body to their woeful bench unit as the 2015-16 regular season winds down. The team announced Wednesday they have signed guard Jared Cunningham from NBA Development League to a 10-day contract using the NBA's hardship exception.
The hardship exception gives teams a temporary roster spot that allows them to exceed the 15-man roster minimum when they have four players who are sick or injured for more than two weeks. Each of the injured or sick players must miss three or more games during the two-week period. An independent physician, not the team's doctor, must determine if each player is required to miss two weeks.
