St. Francis — It was time to make a fast exit for Milwaukee Bucks players on Thursday.
The season was over and playoffs were just a dream, something to strive for next season. So the players took their year-end physicals and met with general manager John Hammond before heading their separate ways.
Coach Jason Kidd said he got a head start and had his year-end talks with players Tuesday, even before the team wrapped up the season with a 97-92 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.
Hammond and Kidd both agreed on the Bucks' primary need before they hit the court again in fall training camp: shooters.
