Bucks in discussions with Chris Copeland, but nothing final yet

The Milwaukee Bucks filled out their 15-man roster, signing 6-foot-8 free-agent forward Chris Copeland to a one-year, $1.1 million deal, according to reports Thursday.

A career 37.3% three-point shooter who can play both forward positions, Copeland essentially replaces forwards Ersan Ilyasova and Jared Dudley in his ability to stretch the floor, and he comes at a fraction of their cost.

The Bucks shed Ilyasova's $7.9 million salary by sending him to the Detroit Pistons in June. Shortly after Dudley opted into the final year of his contract for $4.25 million at the end of June, the Bucks traded him to the Washington Wizards for a second-round pick.
