John Hammond is confident the Milwaukee Bucks can get some needed help in the NBA draft next month, but as he knows, it's usually a "time-will-tell story" with collegiate talent.
The Bucks general manager currently has the No. 10 pick in the June 23 draft, and the Bucks have a 6.5% chance of moving into the top three in Tuesday's draft lottery in New York City.
Milwaukee needs to find the ideal mix of veterans and draft picks to complement the talents of its young core, including 24-year-old Khris Middleton and 21-year-olds Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.
