The Milwaukee Bucks on Monday extended the contract of general manager John Hammond for one year, through the 2016-'17 season.
Hammond and head coach Jason Kidd now each have two years remaining on their deals with the team.
"A great deal of our team's success and progress is due to the vision and hard work of John," Bucks owner Wes Edens said. "He's assembled a talented and competitive roster and we're very pleased that he will continue to lead basketball operations."
Hammond was hired by the Bucks in 2008 and has served as general manager since then.
