In the build-up to the recent votes in relation to the proposed new Milwaukee Bucks arena, many of those opposed frequently voiced their concerns over the real impact that state funding going towards what was essentially a privately owned sports arena would have on not only Milwaukee, but the state of Wisconsin as a whole.
