The Milwaukee Bucks have begun assessing possible candidates for their head coaching position, having been granted permission for a handful of assistants league-wide.
While the front office had previously just been looking at assistants, a rumor was floating around from The Athletic’s Eric Nehm (Subscription required) that the team was also looking at currently employed head coaches. No names were given then, but it appears that two of them have been revealed. Per Yahoo! Sports’ Jake Fischer, Monty Williams of Phoenix and Tyronn Lue of LA are on Milwaukee’s radar as they sort through coaching candidates.
