After defeating the Heat on Tuesday, we soon learned the Bucks would be hosting the Knicks for the quarterfinals of the NBA’s inaugural In-Season Tournament. What we didn’t know until now is what will happen depending on the result of that game’s outcome, beyond that if Milwaukee wins, they’ll advance to the semifinals in Las Vegas to face the winner of the other East quarterfinal between the Pacers and Celtics. That game will be either at 4 or 8 PM on Thursday, December 7th.
Further particulars are starting to come out too. Per Justin Garcia of Locked on Bucks, if the Knicks manage to defeat the Bucks, an additional regular season game (to get them up to 82 on the season) will be scheduled with the loser of the other quarterfinal on Friday, December 8th (no announced tip time yet).
