The NBA Draft has been around for a while. The first one was held way back in 1947, when the Pittsburgh Ironmen selected Clifton McNeeley from the University of Texas at El Paso first overall (technically that was a BAA Draft, but it’s listed on basketball-reference so we’ll count it).
First overall picks are nice and all, but the Milwaukee Bucks are picking 10th in the 2016 NBA Draft. So instead of focusing on first overall picks, we’re going to focus on tenth overall picks.
In the spirit of blind optimism, this is a list of the best 10th overall picks to ever grace the NBA.
