MILWAUKEE -- Besides the fact that Christian Yelich is turning the National League Most Valuable Player Award debate into not much of a debate, he's now chasing a Triple Crown, too.
Yelich stayed scorching with a pair of home runs on Saturday at Miller Park off a pair of Tigers left-handers that led Milwaukee to a 6-5 win. The victory puts the Brewers in a tie atop the NL Central with the Cubs, who lost earlier Saturday to the Cardinals, entering the final day of the regular season.
In the third inning, with the Brewers down 3-0, Yelich took starter Daniel Norris out to left-center field for a two-run shot.
