MILWAUKEE -- Besides the fact that Christian Yelich is turning the National League Most Valuable Player Award debate into not much of a debate, he's now chasing a Triple Crown, too.
Yelich stayed scorching hot by hitting a two-run home run against the Tigers on Saturday, giving him 35 home runs and 108 RBIs to go with a NL-leading batting average that was up to .323 through that at-bat against Tigers left-hander Daniel Norris.
With one regular-season game remaining (or maybe two, depending on what happens in the NL Central race), Yelich moved one home run shy of Matt Carpenter's league lead and three RBIs shy of the pace set by Javier Baez.
