Yelich and Grandal good deep as Brewers down the Cubs 7-1

Tonight’s game against the Chicago Cubs might not have been a must win, but it sure was important for Milwaukee as a loss would have put them six games back of the Cubs for the second wild card spot. It looked bad for the Brewers early as they had to face Cole Hamels who had a 1.88 ERA against Milwaukee thus far this season. They also were down early as Nicholas Castellanos belted a solo shot to take the early lead.

The bats came alive as well, and the bottom of the third was the big inning.
