Cincinnati — Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Wily Peralta is going on paternity leave and won't make his scheduled start Friday night against Cincinnati, the team announced Thursday.
To fill in for Peralta, right-hander Tyler Cravy was summoned from Class AAA Colorado Springs to make that start. Cravy then will return to the Sky Sox and Peralta will slot back into the rotation Monday in Miami.
Peralta and wife Denny had a baby daughter, Ciara. Players on paternity leave must miss at least one game but no more than three.
