Phoenix — This is going to be one interesting spring training camp.
When the Milwaukee Brewers gathered at Maryvale Baseball Park a year ago, all eight spots in the starting lineup were locked up. There was only one newcomer among the regulars, first baseman Adam Lind.
Fast forward to this spring, with the Brewers still in the early stages of a massive rebuilding plan put into motion after the 2015 team took a massive pratfall out of the gate. Not only is Lind gone, so is centerfielder Carlos Gomez, leftfielder Khris Davis, third baseman Aramis Ramirez, shortstop Jean Segura, starting pitcher Mike Fiers and closer Francisco Rodriguez.
