In regard to Will Middlebrooks and Cecchini, it certainly is. There was a time not that long ago when Middlebrooks was the starting third baseman for the Boston Red Sox and Cecchini was a highly regarded prospect in their system hoping to get his shot at that job one day.
This spring, Middlebrooks and Cecchini are among the many newcomers in the Milwaukee Brewers' spring camp. And, again, the fate of one likely is linked to the other.
Though manager Craig Counsell said veteran Aaron Hill will get first chance to be the No.
