If there ever were a season in which Milwaukee Brewers fans should keep a close eye on what's happening in the farm system, this is it.
With the major-league club in the early stages of a massive rebuilding plan, the chances of returning to competitive mode at some point rest almost completely with a strong group of prospects heralded throughout the industry. New general manager David Stearns and his staff are counting on those prospects to arrive in waves, some in the not-so-distant future, to complete the rebuilding process.
