Too late for Brewers to say sorry, lose to Bieber, Cleveland 4-1

The Brewers were able to fight hard and Never Say Never against Shane Bieber, but struggled to cash in on a pair of scoring opportunities in the middle innings and lost their series finale in Cleveland, 4-1.

Bieber showed why he’s been Cleveland’s platinum, silver and gold this year early, striking out 7 of 9 Brewers during the first time through the order and retiring 11 straight before Christian Yelich broke up the perfect game bid with a two-out walk in a 9-pitch at-bat in the top of the 4th inning.
