Thames exits with mild hip strain vs. Mets

NEW YORK -- Minor injuries continued to mount for the Brewers on Sunday, when first baseman Eric Thames left the series finale against the Mets in the middle of the third inning with what the club characterized as a mild left hip strain.

Thames struck out looking against Noah Syndergaard in the first inning and went down swinging to end the top of the third before exiting the game. Jesus Aguilar took over.
