Spring Training Game Thread #26: Milwaukee Brewers (13-11) vs. Chicago White Sox (8-15)

We’re still eight days away from the Brewers’ first regular season game, yet they officially hold a two-game advantage in the loss column on the Cubs!

Milwaukee is down to its final five game days in the Cactus League, and today they’ll take on the Cubs’ Chicago counterpart, a White Sox team so bad that their ineptitude bleeds into their spring training record. Taking the hill for the Brewers will be Aaron Civale, while Shane Smith will pitch first for the Sox.

We got a bit of clarity yesterday on what the Brewers’ infield alignment will look like at the beginning of the 2025 season, as Pat Murphy confirmed that Brice Turang’s recent (mild) shoulder issues mean that he’ll be back at second base, and Joey Ortiz will move from third base to shortstop.
