Tonight’s opening pitcher will be Aaron Ashby. His previous appearance this spring came against the Royals on February 27. He pitched 1 1⁄3 innings in that game, allowing two runs. He also struck out three and walked two. Last season, he had a 2.86 ERA in 14 games but a 6.23 ERA in his two starts. His spot on the team is still up in the air, though the acquisition of Jose Quintana earlier today may push him more towards the bullpen.
