Pittsburgh— A concussion specialist confirmed Saturday what the Brewers and catcher Jonathan Lucroy suspected all along: Lucroy does have a concussion.
The concussion was diagnosed as a mild one by specialist Micky Collins, one of the top doctors at the Sports Medicine Concussion Program of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. But that doesn't mean Lucroy will be back any time soon because concussions are unpredictable and recoveries vary.
"All concussions are bad, but it's definitely treatable," said Lucroy. "We're going through the protocol and treatment program right now that he gave us and we have through Major League Baseball.
