Shaw exits with bruised right knee after HBP

MILWAUKEE -- Brewers cleanup hitter Travis Shaw left Tuesday's game at Miller Park against the Reds with a bruised right knee, two innings after he was struck by a 95-mph fastball.

Cincinnati right-hander Michael Lorenzen's wayward heater hit Shaw leading off the second inning, and the left-handed-hitting slugger remained in the game to give his knee a good test. Shaw scored from second base when right fielder Scott Schebler bobbled a Jonathan Schoop single for a run-scoring error that cut Milwaukee's deficit to 2-1, and then he played another inning of defense before exiting at the start of the fourth.
