The Brewers are off to Detroit after being swept at the hands of the Phillies to begin their road trip. The Crew haven’t traveled to Detroit since 2021, when they lost both games in a short two-game set at Comerica Park.
Detroit is a much better team this season, with a 31-31 record thus far. They haven’t finished above .500 since 2016, when they went 86-75, and they haven’t made the postseason since 2014, when they went 90-72 to win the AL Central before being swept in the ALDS by the Orioles.
