Phoenix — One day after suffering facial and nasal fractures when he was hit by a pitch, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Rymer Liriano was released from the hospital and stopped at Maryvale Baseball Park to talk with teammates and staff.
"He was in great spirits," said manager Craig Counsell, who visited Liriano in the hospital earlier in the morning. "I think everybody was kind of blown away. He was smiling; laughed a little bit. He was in good spirits. It was great of him to come so everybody could say hi to him.
