Following a disappointing end to the 2020 season — the first year in which the Brewers finished under .500 since 2016 — Matt Arnold took over as general manager from David Stearns. Stearns then stepped down as the president of baseball operations after another disappointing 2022 season — the first year in which the Brewers missed the playoffs since 2017 — completely handing the reins over to Arnold.
Since that time, Arnold has completely remade the roster, capitalizing on young talent through the draft and international signings, including Jackson Chourio and Jeferson Quero. With the 2024 MLB Draft just a few weeks away, I thought this would be a good time to take a look back at the three drafts Milwaukee has had with Arnold at the helm.
