Rangers down Brewers, 3-2

The past couple of days have proven busy for Chase Anderson. Yesterday, he and his wife, Anna, welcomed their second child into the world. Today Anderson took the mound against the Texas Rangers. To this point, Spring Training has been and up and down affair for Anderson. Today he pitched decently. He pitched four innings, giving up two runs on six hits (all singles), striking out four. Most importantly, no Rangers’ hitter homered off of him. Junior Guerra replaced Anderson and pitched a scoreless fifth inning, striking out two. Alex Claudio took the sixth and gave up a run on a Willie Calhoun single making the score 3-0.
