A day after the Brewers celebrated their postseason berth and NL Central championship, the post-celebration hangover hit on Thursday night. They were held to just two hits by the Diamondbacks as they lost, 5-1.
Early on, the pitchers matched each other well, keeping the game scoreless through four innings. Tobias Myers allowed three hits and one walk over those four innings, while the Brewers could only manage one hit off of Brandon Pfaadt.
That changed in the fifth inning. Myers walked Gabriel Moreno and Geraldo Perdomo to put two runners on base.
