Pittsburgh – After bowing to the Milwaukee Brewers much of the season, the Pittsburgh Pirates finally exacted a measure of revenge.
Rallying from an early four-run deficit, the Pirates pulled out a 7-6 victory Sunday afternoon at PNC Park on Josh Harrison's run-scoring single with one out in the 11th inning.
After losing the opener of the four-game series, the Pirates came back to take the next three games. The Brewers won the season series, 10-9, but Pittsburgh remained two games behind first-place St. Louis in the NL Central.
Pittsburgh's winning rally began when Travis Ishikawa blooped a hit into shallow left and Shane Peterson charged in and it eluded him for an error that allowed Ishikawa to go to second.
