MILWAUKEE -- Tim Dillard, the longtime Brewers farmhand known for his sidearm pitching style and side-splitting videos chronicling life in the Minor Leagues, has re-signed with the club for a 15th professional season.
Dillard, 33, inked a Minor League contract without an invitation to big league camp. That is not great news for his bid to get back to the Majors for the first time since 2012, but a score for his more than 10,000 followers on Twitter, who get a unique look inside the clubhouse. The short videos he posted from Triple-A Colorado Springs were so popular, the Brewers made Dillard a September callup for the final week of the season as a member of their social media crew.
