ST. LOUIS -- Brewers catcher Manny Pina left Tuesday's game against the Cardinals in the top of the seventh inning. The Brewers announced that he exited with right calf tightness.
Pina was on first base after walking. A couple of pitches later, Brewers manager Craig Counsell ran onto the field with a trainer to talk to Pina, who then limped off on his own power.
Pina, who was 1-for-1 and had reached all three times at bat, was replaced in the game by Jett Bandy.
